Dhaval Desai
A Textile Graduate from DKTE Ichalkaranji joined the family textile business in 1999. After completing a year of intensive training at The Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Co. Ltd. (Spring Mills), once Asia's largest composite unit, he established the first 24 Ruti B Automatic looms in Jaysingpur upon returning to the family enterprise. Drawing on his experience within the corporate sector, he launched the first ISO-certified weaving unit in the decentralized textile sector of the country.
In recognition of its work culture and productivity, Desai Textiles was honoured as The Best Organization by the Textile Association of India in 2004.
He has actively led and participated in numerous social initiatives in Jaysingpur and Ichalkaranji, earning accolades for several of his successful projects.
